The nice little clean hotel, near the city center and public beach, was a delightful find. The helpful owner showed us the best places to visit in Ventspils, making our stay truly memorable. The comfortable room had everything we needed, including a charming touch with flowers made from towels upon arrival.I was impressed by the level of service and attention to detail, with the proprietor even going out of his way to deliver my forgotten rain poncho to the port before my early morning ferry. The breakfast, delivered right to our room, was delicious with a good selection of dishes. The option to use a sauna at an additional charge was a nice touch for relaxation. The hotel offers bikes for rent, making it convenient to explore the city, and other services to enhance our stay. The free WiFi, basic kitchenware, and private bathroom facilities in the room added to the overall convenience. The atmosphere, coupled with the garden equipped with barbecue facilities, made for a pleasant and cozy stay. Veldzes Nams was a lovely retreat in Ventspils, and I would highly recommend it for both its location and excellent service. It's a perfect blend for tech professionals and history buffs alike, looking to soak in the beauty and culture of the Baltic region.
